Blayney, of Hawera (N.Z.), ' las obtained'a commission us;second-lieu-tenant in the Royal Flying Corps, and has been stationed at the Curragh Camp, in Ireland, since the beginning of January. In Ms leisure he has been taking "trips into the surrounding country on a newly-purchased; motor cycle, but he is expecting to be transferred to ar flying school in England in the near future. Lieutenant J. B. le ilottee, of Christ- ; church, of the Canterbury Battalion, is in England on leave from Gallipoli, and is at present staying at Hessle, in East j Yorkshire. ! Sergeant G. Kuabatch, of Wellington • and Dtmedin (respectively), are all on leave in London from the hospital ship Marama, and staying at Crichton Hall, Bedford Place. Gunner P. Austin, N.Z.F.A., of Taranaki, late of Mateniateaonga, who has been serving with the Main Body of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, has sufficiently recovered to be on furlough.
