The well-known war correspondent Mr. Jefferies, who is at Salonika, says the latest information concerning Constantinople lessens the probability of an insurrection. There are 10.000 AustroGerman troops in the city. Turkish control has vanished. The Younff Turks suspected the h- j-apparent. and won him over to tneir sido with a larsje pension.
