At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association the Auckland Trotting Club forwarded correspondence in connection with the boycott case, enclosing a letter from the Minister for Internal Affairs, asking for partienhrrs concerning the disqualification of two men who were associated with thfe case; The- clrfb notified the association that It had given the facts of the caae to the' Minister, and forwarded copies- of its letters to the association. The chairman fald the whole business gave- rise- to a question as to what was the governing body of trotting in New Zealand. If outside Influence conld be brought to bear, there would be no finality. He.thought it'viould be as well to inform the Minister for Internal.Affairs that, as the governing body of trotting, the association had dealt with the matter.
