AN' AtAWMCTC: OUTBKEAK. SYMPTOMS RESEMBLE TETANUS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A serious epidemic causing mortality among horses is prevalent in North. Canterbury. The animals are attacked with paralysis in the legs, then fall and do not rise again. Many of the symptoms are those of tetanus without the lockjaw.- The disease is highly infectious, and animals should be isolated when attacked. A Government official is investigating the disease.
