American orders were plentiful, but no purchases were made owing to the t Government's refusal to grant export i licenses. t A total of 4.833 Australian, 2,550 NewZealand, and 457 Cape bales were cata- ■ logued, the last including a good average , selection of all sorts. There was a large attendance, and prices receded from last . sales inflated level. Crossbreds showed J an all round drop of 5 to 7J per cent, T lower. Good merinos were par to 5 per v cent lower, shabbier 5 to 7J per cent * lower. * T
