ASHBURTON, this day. M While crossing the railway - line at Tinwald last evening, a motor-oar, occupied by George Harrison, fanner," o f Mayfield, and hie son, Lloyd Harrison, aged eight years, was struck by the second express from the south. The son was" killed instantly, and the father seriously injured. Portions of the car were thrown 40 yards away.
