AUCKLAND KENNEL CLUB.
The annual general meeting of members of the above' club was'held iu'-ffie" Society of Arts Building, Coburg Street, on Friday evening. There was a good attendance of members, and the chair was occupied by Mr. It. H. Sheppard (vice-president). The tinnnal report and balance-sheet were presented to the meeting and adopted. The annual report showed that the past year's show was held in conjunction with the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Metropolitan Show, and as all proceeds from the function were devoted' to the Patriotic Fnnd the cilub did not receive any financial benefit, therefrqm..;. Xotwjtlj,-;, standing this the finances of the-club have been well maintained, and the balancesheet: disclosed a-slightly'improved position .on that of last year-., 'Mr.-'B.M. Myers was .unanimously ejected as president of the club for the ensuing year, and on his election took the chair. Other officers were elected •as follows: Vice-presidents (with seat on committee). Mr. E. Murraue and Mr. R. H. Sheppard; treasurer, Mr. H. S. Beare; hon. auditor, Mr. J. W. Jamison: committee, Messrs. T. H. Bevin, T. Beasley, C. ,X>. A. Raynes, F. C. Barber, S. Rtkethley, : A. L. Desgranges, A. Birchall, A. Moore, J. "tfT. , X' Smith, and G. Davis. A vote of- thanks to the retiring officials was carried .unanimously.
