A French message says that during a fight, in the air in the region of Verdun, Adjutant Navarre, in a monoplane, brought down with his machine gun two German aeroplanes within the French lines. Two of the aviators were killed, and two others were taken prisoner. A squadron of nine.French aeroplanes dropped 144 bombs on Metz Sablon station, and another squadron bombarded an enemy establishment at Cbambley, north-east of Pont-a-Mousson. An Amsterdam telegram states that tlie Allies' airmen destroyed Eleybe.rg station, on the Belgo-German frontier, I and damaged a tunnel.
