AUSTRIA'S HEAVY LOSSES IN MONTENEGRO
35,000 OF 120,000 DEAD OR WOUNDED. ADVANCE HELD UP BT ITALIAN DEFENCE, (Received 10.5 a.m.) ROME, February 25. Of the 120,000 Anstrians who invaded Montenegro, 15,000 have died from fatigue, disease and drowning in the swamps, while 20,000 were killed o: wounded. Many of the latter are crowding into the hospitals at Cattaro, Ragusa, and Mostar. The Austrian advance has been stopped owing to the rapacity of tho friendly Albanians, defective - commissariat, bad roads, and the need of reinforcements against the Italo-Albanian defence.
