THE STRANDED KOMATA.
PLATES BUCKLED AND HOLED.

WELLINGTON, Sunday.
Captain Grey and Captain Lambert, who acted as nautical assessors at the, Kaitoa inquiry, will act similarly at the inquiry into the stranding of the Komata, which is to be held to-morrow. A gang of men is busy repairing the Komata, and the work was continuing all day to-day. The damage consists .of several plates badly buckled and three or four holed. These are being removed and the bent frames straightened. The damaged area extends about 25ft back from the stem.
