The interment of the remains of the late Mr. A. E. T. Devore took place this tifternoon at the Pnrewa cemetery. The cortege left hie late residence, St. Stephen's Avenue, Paroell, at 3 pjn., when there was a large gathering of those who had been associated with Mr. Devore, either on public bodies and van-1 3ii3 associations, as well as personal friends. The Auckland Savings Bank, Df which Mr. Devore was a trustee, was represented by Messrs. T. Peacocke, Jrepresented by Messrs. T. Peacock, -J. an, and the manager, Mr. G. Kountree. Slumbers of wreaths were sent front Jie various bodies with which, deceased lad been connected during his long resi:nce in Auckland.
