VERITAS MLNE. {rsy Telegraph.—Own Corresponient) WAIHI, this day. ■ T. Liddle and party are making good progress driving on lode formation in the Veritas claim at Owharoa. Yesterday afternoon a section of rich stone was met with, including some excellent specimens. Interesting developments are anticipated when the drive enters the rich zone of Old Smile of Fortune cla:m. WAIHI G-M. CO.
Owing to the recent bad weather an interruption took place yesterday morning on the electric transmission line of the Waihi G.M. Company from llorahora, thus causing the power to be cut oil -from the mine. Repairs, hoiyever, were dl toted during the afternoon.
