The Victoria was to have left Auckland at 4 p.m. on Thursday but during the past two days she has been kept back a 8 the result of a deficiency of .firemen. One hundred and eighty passengers and a number of bags of mail are aboard, and the delay has meant serious inconvenience to 'a large number of persons.
