The Rose mine superintendent reports for the week ended November 18: —Jfo. 2 east drive was advanced 24ft. in wash payable for 2ft. below the back laths. East drive, off Xo. 12 south drive, was extended 22ft. in 4ft. of pay wash. Blocking is proceeding off Nos. 7, 9 and 11 north drives, and north-west drive off No. 3. A shoot interruption, to the transmission line during stormy weather caused stoppage of Underground work for one day.
