EPSOM ROAD BOARD.
•Mr. F. H. Wood presided at last evening's meeting of the Epsom Boad Board, and the following members were present:— Messrs. E. Clay, J. B. Macfarlanc, H. Froet and It. G. Clark. I Formation of Footpath.—A request was | received from the One-tree Hill Road Board asking that the Epsom Board form the Manuknu Road footpath from opposite the j poet office to Hlggins' Corner. It was decided to write stating that the Board had not the necessary funds at the present time. Position of Fire Plug,*.—A letter was received from Mr. A. R. Rceser, secretary of the district Volunteer Fire Brigade, asking for a plan of the district, indicating the positions of the various fire plugs. It was stated that no such plan was in existence. The secretary was referred to the turncock, who would supply particulars. Garden Fete. — Tthe secretary for the Juvenile Patriotic Garden Fete, to be held on December 17 and 18, wrote requesting that the Board give the fete its patronage and support. The Board decided to accede to the request.
