TURK TRANSPORT MINED IN SEA OF MARMORA
NEARLY FIVE HUNDRED LIVES LOST. NINE GERMAN SUBMARINES DISAPPEAR IN MEDITERRANEAN AMSTERDAM, November 22. A telegram from Zurich, in Switzerland, states that a Turkish transport, with 500 men on board, struck! a mine in the Sea of Marmora, and sank. Nearly all on board were drowned. The Turks and Germans are concerned over the disappearance of nine submarines in the Mediterranean. It is feared that they have been lost.
