ZEPPELIN DESTROYED IN ALSACE.
GAS EXPLODES WHILE BEING FILLED. , (Received 10.55 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 21. Soldiers at Ober, in Lower Alsace, were pumping gas into a Zeppelin when a violent explosion destroyed the craft, killing one and wounding eight of the soldiers. ,_, Later reports state that the Zeppelin was brand new, and was of the latest It occupied a new shed, covering an acre of land. During alterations to the roof of the shed a workman, smoking in defiance of orders, dropped a cigar on the envelope,.which at once burst into flames. Eleven men_ were lulled or injured.
