SERBIAN ARMY UNBROKEN.
KITCHENER'S VISIT TO GREECE. A WARNING TO GONSTANTINE. HEAVY FIGHTING AT GORZ. ZEPPELIN DESTROYED IN ALSACE. The Serbians are still fighting with stubborn bravery against their Bulgarian and Austro-German foes, and in the south their line is unbroken, they have lost no prisoners during the retreat, and they have not lost any of their new pattern guns. The Bulgarians reported the capture of Monastir, but this report was not correct, for the town is still in the hands of the Serbs, who have advanced along the Priley Road to meet the foe. There are fears that the 6,000 Bulgarians in Monastir will revolt, and firm steps have been taken to prevent any uprising. Earl Kitchener has visited the King of Greece, and also the Premier (M. Scouloudis). After his interviews a lengthy meeting of Cabinet was held. It is suggested by some of the English papers that Britain, Russia and France should use their powers as guarantors of Greek neutrality to dethrone Constantine if he give any indication of hostility to the Entente, on the ground that his action in dismissing M. Venizelos was a breach of the Constitution, and amounted to a coup d'etat. A Zeppelin of the newest type was destroyed at Ober ■Modern, in Alsace, through the carelessness of a workman, and eleven of those employed in filling the airship were killed or injured. A fierce battle has been in progress in the Gorz sector of „, the Austrian front. The Italians have poured a tremendous •c-:-hail of shells into the Austrian positions. They have not yet captured the town, but they have heavily bombarded it, causing great damage. The Germans attempted to re-cross the Dvina in the region of Friedrichstadt, but were repulsed by the Russians after . gaining a temporary advantage.
