COAL MINERS' HOURS.
SYDNEY, this day. A mase meeting of the Amalgamated Miners' Association at Broken Hill rejected a proposal to hold a referendum on the question of 44 hours' work week. The meeting voted that underground men finish on Saturdays at four o'clock.
