Cable dispatches from Berlin to the United States state that for the first time in its history the North German Lloyd .Soamship Company has failed to issue it* annual report and call a general mooting of "its stockholders. It is stated, however, that, despite Hie war, the North German Lloyd made important acquisitions in 1014-L'i. The total tonnage of vesols under construction is (14,0.11). Owing to prompt measures by captains nt the outbreak of the war, the majority of the vessels were able to reach neutral porta.
