[ RUGBY. ..- J-XECUTTVE MEETING. The weekly meeting of the AJ3..U. Management Committee last night was attended by Messrs. 41. J. Sheahan (chairman) T. Buxton. T. Aitken, H. Olay, F. J. o_ls_n, A, J. Twimame, and C V. Langsford, (lion. sec.). A reqnest was received from the Senior .Cadets' •Sports' Association, requesting a place on the forthcoming carnival pro-£r_-ni_e in a representative foot<b_ll match betnveeu senior cadets and Union fifth grade rep. team, but the request had to be declined as tbe programme for the carnival was already in the printer's hands. The committee, however, decided to keep in view the arranging of a rep. match for the senior cadets on some future occasion. Jt was decided to play the King's College v. Gr__vn*ar School match on the Show Ground at Bpsom. at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and to permit the Gram—tar Old Boys and University seconds to play their game early iv order that It might finish before the big college game. Benson presided over tbe weekly meeting of the committee of management of tbe Auckland Rugby League, held last evenlug. . Other members present were: Messrs. R. W. Pollock, J. Endcan, J. Fellowes. R. Seeling, who recently lost his wife, and tbe relatives of B. Hart. who was killed while fighting at -the Dardanelles. The City Glib wrote, stating It approved of the committee's decision to award the final match in the seven-a-side tournament to North Shore, and tbe meeting expressed appreciation of the spirit shown by the City Club. The New Zealand League congratulated ihe committee on the success of Its carnival In aid of the Hospital Ship and Wounded •Soldiers' Fund, held on June 12, and n letter was received from the Mayor (Mr. ,T. H. Gunsou), expressing appreciation of the League's further effort on behalf of the fund lv donating half the profits of last Saturday's matches. BULDSOE* rASSAGK. The Otahuhu Club uotifled the committee that it had no objection to (Jeo. Cook being transferred to the Taupiri Club. It was decided to ask the Newton dub to reconsider the question of transferring Williams to the Thames Old Boys' Club. .An application was received from tbe Ponsonby Club, asking for the transfer of MouJden from the City Club. The application was referred to the City Club. North Shore registered D. Fife and W. Parker as new players. The Junior Advisory Board reported that it had regraded Harrison, of North Shore, and had approved the transfer of M. Delaney from City to Newton, and of L. Lee from Newton to City. TEE MATCH AFTERMATH. A complaint was received with regard to tile conduct of the captain of North Shore (H. Wynyard) in leaving the field In the course of the game and standing ou the line. Some discussion took pluce on tbe mutter, and action was deferred, pending tbe report of the referee. The Junior Advisory Board wrote, suggesting that a City junior and a Thames junior, who were ordered off the grouud for lighting on Saturday, be cautioned. A similar recommendation was made in regard to a Newton third grade player who was ordered off for attempting to strike a "Silbnyside player. I Mr. E. E. Brlggs, Devonport, wrote, suggesting that the committee should Include the weights of players iq future programmes. The committee agreed to play the Ponsonbyi v. City and the "Grnfton v. Otahnhu matches on July 10 at Victoria Park, and charge, for admission. The other senior match, Newton v. North Shore, will be played at North Shore. The following curtain-raisers were arranged for July 3:—Ponsonby v. Manukau, fourth grade, at 1.30 p.m.; Mangere v. City, juniors, at 2.30 p.m.; and it was decided to play City against Grafton as an additional fixture on tbe occasion of the Patriotic Sports Carnival. Complaint was made with regard to the neglect of players to present their passes to the ground, and the secretary was instructed to bring the matter before the clubs. ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY.
