DEPUTATION TO PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The appointment of a Board of Trade for the Dominion was urged on the Prime Minister by a deputation from the New Zealand Industrial Corporation. }Sx. Sennett (Canterbury) eaid., the idea was that the board should be both investigatory and advisory, and should work in the four centres simultaneously. They also asked that the Government should pay a subsidy towards cost of tho work. The Government spent £200,000 a year on the Department of Agriculture. The subsidy they asked 'would only be the fortieth part of that. He also asked that the Board should have power to call evidence.
