PICNICS.

ODDFELLOWS' PICNIC. On account of the inclemency of the weather on Saturday, the Oddfellows' picnic to Motutapu, arranged In connection, with the Grand Lodge Session, had to be postponed. The committee has since decided to abandon the function altogether, this step being found advisable in view of the departure of the Southern visitors and the near approach of the Easter holidays. An announcement of this decision is made through our advertising columns, and purchaser, of tickets are requested to exchange them for cash through the sellers. A big contingent of the Grand Lodge officers and representatives left for south by last night's express, being farewelled at the station by the officers and members of the Auckland District.
