HOW THE BOUVET SANK.
DISAPPEARS IN A FEW MINUTES. BRITISH SHIPS RUSH TO THE RESCUE. (Received 8.35 ____.) LONDON, March 21. An "Eye-witness" cabling from Tenedos says that a thick cloud of smoke blotted out the Bouvet. then as it thinned the grey bow was seen pointing skyward. Soon the stern was submerged, and before the smoke passed she sank" as two British ships rushed up to the rescue.
