Tbe last of the carnivals arranged; by: the: Auckland Centre of/the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association in -connection with the visit of the two Hawaiian champions, Duke Kahanamoku and George Cunba, took place on Saturday at -the covered-in -Municipal Salt .-'•Water- Baths, Hobson- Street. ;- There was an attendance of hundreds, and the keenest enthusiasm prevailed throughout the'carnival. The annual swimming, carnival of tbe Auckland City Schools was held in the Albert Street Baths,'on Friday evening last.
