ONE-TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.

The regular meetlnc of the One-tree Hill ißoad Board was held Inst evening, when there were present Messrs. H. Dobble Irhoinnun), H. Shrewsbury. J. Dykes, C. U I Slyfleld, and T. Rowe. New By-law.—The following extraorainary traffic by-law, drawn up toy the Board's solicitors, was .passed by the Board, to t>e confirmed at a special meeting in a month's time, find to come into operation upon being Rnzotted: —<[a) Conduct of the particular kind of. traffic following, viz.. the cartage of gravel, stone, or scoria from any scoria pit or gravel pit in the. district along any of the roads tinder U>e control of the Board is hereby forbidden unless the coot.as estimated by the Board of reinstating euch road .or roads k> previously paid to the Board, fh) If any person or body corporate shall conduct or be engaged m the particnlar kind of traffic benelabefore mentioned without having first paid to the Board the cost ins estimated by mc Board) of reinstating the rond or roads used for such traffic, he -shall be deemed to hnve committed a brenob of this hr-law.
