UNION MATTERS.

(Received 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day, A new Musicians' Union has been formed to take the place of that whose registration was cancelled by the Court. Three of the mines at which there was difficulty in regard to the afternoon shift have not resumed. When the men at the other mines resumed, the men at these particular mines refused to work alongside men who had been employed during the strike, and the whole trouble threatens ■to be re-opened. In regard to the application for the. cancellation of the Australian Workers' Union, Judge Murray has decided that he will not cancel the registration, but will make an order which will be annulled if certain alterations in the rules be carried out. He has fixed .the end of May as the time for the matter to be again brought before the Court.
