TENTATIVE TEMPERANCE.
A CANADIAN EXPERIMENT. OTTAWA, March 19. The Saskatchewan Government has decided to make'complete prohibition effective. It proposes to operate .the wholesale liquor trade under the dispensary system until a referendum decides whether dispensaries ought also to be abolished. The measure ie intended to be elective during the war, but if the Moters so decide, it may become permanent.
