FRENCH PROGRESS IN THE CHAMPAGNE.
GERMAN COMMUNICATION TRENCHES DESTROYED. THREE COUNTER-ATTACKS REPULSED. (Beceived 8.50 ajn.) PARIS, March 19. An official communique states that we captured and destroyed the enemy's communication trenches near Notre Dame de Lorette, towards the village of Ablain, killing or capturing the defenders. We progressed 150 metres after a violent fight hetween Four de Paris and Bolante, and also .carried a salient at Les Epargee eastward of the position held by the enemy since February. We repulsed three counterattacks.
