LAWN TENNIS.
Dr. Arthur OTlara Wood, the present holder of the Australasian lawn tennis championship, made a memorable last appearance in public prior to his departure with the Australian forces for the field of war, when he carried off the three autumn championships of Victoria —singles, doubles, and mixed doubles—; without the loss of a set.
