LONDON WOOL SALES. HIGH TRICES FOB CROSSBREDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Thnrsday. The High Commissioner cables the following market report under date of London. March 16:— "The Colonial wool sales have commenced. The market looks very strong, and there are nnmerous buyers at top prices for crossbred wool. A continuance of high prices is expected for all grades of medium and coarse crossbred*, the market for which has advanced 5d per lb ou an average Other wools are firm at last quotations." Ltd.. it was stated that the profit'was £7.828, and an Interim dividend of 2* per cent was declared. A sum of £4,328 will be carried forward.
