BORDER LEICESTERS FOR NEW ZEALAND.

An interesting shipment of Border Lficester sheep has just been made to "North British Agriculturist" nf Decemand Sons, Westside, Brechin, fare the ber 10. The animals number five—a ram and four gimmers—and are for Mr. D. il. Sutherland, Waimate. one of the most successful of our colonial flockmasters. Cameron i 6 none other than the Highland champion of this year, bred at Glenearn and purchased at Kelso for the record price of £300. Messrs Cameron purchased this sheep for themselves, but have now been tempted by a handsome offer to pass him on to Mr. Sutherland after having had the use of him during the past season. The sheep, it need hardly be doubted, will do well for his new owner. He was regarded at Kelso as one of the very best rams of the breed which had ever been sold there, which means a very great deal. With ample size and substance he included a bold, vigorous face and mu—tl-e, a fine coat, and all but perfect cover. He wor hands down at the Highland Society, and ought to prove a breeding cheep of rare merit. He is exceptionally well bred, bring got by Horoscope (25231 but of a Prince of ".Vales 129001 ewe.
