DEATH ROLL OF BRITISH OFFICERS AT NEUVE CHAPELLE.
BELGIANS CAPTURE FIVE MILES OF TRENCHES.
LONDON 1 , March 17. The British lists already show that 191 officers, including 59 dead, were comprised amongst the list of casualties at Neuve Chapelle. The "Daily Chronicle's" correspondent at Calais says that the Belgians have crossed the Yser between Dixmudc and St. Georges, after determined path-building for months across the floods under fire. When the crossing was completed the Belgian artillery forced the Germans to evacuate five miles of trenches, which the Belgians occupied.
