■ » WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION. The following cablegram was sent to head office, London: "We are crushing 420 tone per days, the actual extraction is 30/ per ton. The developments of the mine are satisfactory. The Royal lode, No. 7 level, has been dniven upon 150 feet. The ore is of medium grade; the face in the west end 6hows a width of 12 feet, with no wall exposed. The Empire lode, No. 0 level, winze No. 16: Depth of winze 45 feet; the width is 3 feet; worth £5 7/6; no wall exposed."
