Our map illustrates the suggested amalgamation of Auckland's North Shore boroughs into a proposed new county, which, under Undivided control, would undertake comprehensive schemes of water supply transport and electric power, thus ensuring the homogeneous development of the whole northern shore. One of the most attractive features of the scheme is the continuous waterfront roadway aa here outlined, bridging the harbour inlets and at the same time providing a source of electrical'power of great value to the local governing body.
