There was a large atteny dance* of buyers, including a considerable number from oveascas, and competition c was exceedingly keen. Prices for crossbred fleece wool wore from Id to- lsd per lb J above those ruling at the February 6a!e, 'f while Merinos were also firmer. Pieces, i" bellies and locks were sold at about the n last sale rate, while cru.tch.ings were d from id to |d dearer. A fair quantity of slipe wool was offered, and realised c up to lSjd for crossbred and 20Ad for 1- lamb.
