The New Plymouth team are spending a whole day on the Auckland Green to-day, the morning game being against Auckland" s last year's touring team to Taranaki. while this afternoon a match is being played for the commemoration trophy. This evening the visitors and a number of local trundlers will be entertained, at a smoke social in the Auckland pavilion. The programme for the Hawera team to-day was: Remuera in the morning, and Carlton in the afternoon. TARANAKI V. AUCKLAND.
