' SYDNEY. March 16. A "stop-work" meeting of sotrtfti coast j miners adopted resolutions deprecating the imprisonment of wiluerters for failure to pay fines for absenting themselves on ' a working day. emphaltically disapproving of Judge Heydon's attitude in regard to the of the beneficial clauses of the Arbitration Act, and demanding thait the Government amend the law, so as to prevent a recurrence of the penalising and gaoling of members.
