The weather was dull and rain falling when a start was made with the opening day's racing of the Ohinemurl Jockey Club's meeting. The course was very dry and hard. There was a good attendance. Results are as follows:— MAIDEN HANDICAP. Six furlongs. Blueform, 7.12 (McFlinn) l Don Castor, 7.8 2 Lady Lynette, 7.12 3 Scratched: Glendina, Walrangl, Mangette, Sir Rosa, Maid of Orleans, Soft Rock and Mason Bee. Blueform was In front all the way, and won by two lengths. Time, 1.17 2-5. Nicomar was favourite. NETHERTON WELTER. About seven furlongs. Hamlet, 8.12 (Brady) l Tararu Jack 2 Glenspire, D.6 3 Scratched: Master Walrlkl and Maui Nina.
