HosMng moved, in accordance , prith notice, "That the Library Comminee *>c asked, to report upon tbe advisableness nf the establishment of a school of journalism in connection with this College.'' He remarked that'the whole curriculum for a journalist's diploma was practically iatrgfct in onr colleges at the present time •with the exception of. actual journalism itself, winch, in view -of the importance that it bore in the .everyday education of the public on contemporaneous affairs, should, he considered, be given attention uy our University. Mr. G. 3. Garland seconded the motion, jrMch was carried "without dissent.
