A painful accident iiappene.l at Birkenhead this morning to a lad, 14 years of ; age, named Raymond Civil, a «sori of Mt. G. T. Civil, of Warkworth. The lad, who' is a pupil of the Auckland Grammar school, is living with Mr. A. L. White, and was Tiding on a trolley, which overturned, throwing him violently on to the corrugated iron bordering the path.
