NEGLECT CAUSES DEATH.
Dr. Grant, Medical Superintendent at the Hospital, states that the man Edward Hughes, who died at the Hospital yesterday, was in a very much neglected condition, and was suffering from extreme debility . and pneumonia when admitted. He appeared to have been without food for several days, and his death resulted i practically from starvation and neglect.
