TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.

At the ordinary meeting mere were present Messrs. Campbell (chairman), J. W. iindrews, J. T. llcHuyli and E. Pilkington. Vale Eoad Cnlvert.—The Board's engineer estimated a scheme to drain the Vale Road Creek would cost £S9 6/ on the lines of a plan and specification drawn up. The matter was deferred. Road Works.—lt was resolved that tbe wort of forming Knottingsley and Harbour View .Roads be proceeded with if the contractors w'onld do .the work in accordance with their previous tenders. Greater Auckland.—The clerk" was instructed to write to bis Worship the Mayor of Auckland asking "him to receive a deputation from the Board to ;dlscnss -the question of amalgamation with the«lty, also . the procuring of Lake St. John as a public reserve.
