Later it is proposed to extend activities to Westralia and New Zealand. The whole of the south coast mines are idle to-day to enable the men to discuss the arrest of a number of wheelers for nonpayment of fines. The men.also have other .grievances. The position is regarded as critical. With tho exception of the Whitburn mine, work will be resumed in the Moitland collieries, where there was trouble over the afternoon shift.
