INCITED CRIMINAL CAPTURED
IN HOUSE AT HAMILTON. MARCHED TO POLICE STATION. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") HAMILTON, this day. While Mr. and Mrs. Walter Goodman were sitting in the kitchen of their house in Kent Street. Frankton. late on Saturday night they heard a stealthy movement in one of the liedvooms. On going to investigate, Mr. Goodman came across Alfred Dory Ozier, a criminal with a long list of alia.es and a longer record of conviction.. A struggle ensued, as the result of which Ozier was overpowered and taken by Goodman to the police station. On appearing before Mr. Ravrson, S.M., to-day, charged with being unlawfully on premises, Ozier pleaded guilty, but declared that he had been directed to a boarding establishment iri the neighbourhood and mistook the house. . The police stated that accused's name appeared in the "Police Gazette" many times. When arrested he bad in his possession a pair of kid gloves, of the kind frequently used by burglars to prevent incriminating finger prints being left behind. His Worship said men of accused's | , type were a danger to the community, I and sentenced him to twelve months' hard labour. {
