ADDRESS OF THANKS
TO A GERMAN PRISONER. , SYDNEY, March 14. An incident in connection with the capture of German New Guinea, which is probably unparalleled in history, has occurred. Dr. Kunge. who was practising at Herbertshohe when the Australian Expeditionary Force occupied the territory, was made a prisoner of war. Notwithstanding this fact, he assisted in the treatment of tlie troops. When he arrived in Australia the troops presented him with an illuminated address in appreciation of his kindness.
