GERMANS LOSE 10,000 IN THREE DAYS.
HEAVY COUNTER-ATTACKS REPULSED. NOTABLE FRENCH SUCCESS IN THE AISNE. (Received 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. The Government official Press Bureau states that the War Office reports that the enemy's heavy counter-attack on Saturday afternoon was repulsed. Obstervations taken on the battlefield and statement! of 1,500 prisoners show that the German losses cannot be far short of 10,000 in tlie last three days. A Paris official message states that after desperate fighting the French captured a plateau and half the village of Vauquois, in thc'Aisne.
