' The Auckland provincial golf championship meeting and handicap tournament will be held under the management at the Auckland Chrt> on April 3, 5. and 6. The programme and arrangements are as follows :— April S. —Auckland provincial amateur championship: qaulif ring round of 36 holes. medal play (16 to qualify); match play thereafter: final to be played over. 18 holes. The winner will hold the: Auckland provincial championship cup (presented-by. Hon. S. Thome-George) for one year. Trophies will be given to winner and run-ner-up. A medal handicap ot 36 holes will be played in conjunction with the provincial championship. April 3.—Morning: Auckland provincial amateur championship, match play. 18 holes, first round; bogey handicap, 18 holes. Afternoon : Auckland ' provincial amateur championship, second round; fourball (best ball) 18 holes. April 6.—Morning: Auckland provincial amateur championship, semi-final. 18 holes : medal handicap, 18 holes. Afternoon: l Auckland provincial amateur championship. | final; bogey handicap, 18 holes.
