The proposal to tax exports for the purpose of raising war revenue does not appeal to some of the farmers. At the meeting of the Hamilton branch of tbe Fanners' Union this morning 'It. J. D. P. Morgan gave notice of his intention to move the following motion: '"That this branch of the Farmers' Union views with alarm the rropo?a! to impose a war tax on thfi Dominion exports, seeing that practically the whole of this tax must fall on the producing farmer, and, that this branch is of opinion that an increase in the land and income tax would be more equitable." ,_
