BRITISH ATTACK AT NEUVE CHAPELLE.
MILE AND A-HALF OF TRENCHES CAPTURED. OVER A THOUSAND PRISONERS TAKEN. (Received 10.5 a.m.) PARIS, March 11. An official communique states that ths British attack on Neuve Chapelle, to the east of the road from Staines to La Bassee, resulted in the eapturc of 2,500 metres of trenches in and before the village. Progress in the direction of Aubers and the Bois de Biez amounts to two kilometres. The prisoners captured in the attack totalled over a thousand, including •everal officers and some machine-guns. The German losses were Tery heavy.
